Naan bread and tzatziki sauce are one of my favorite snacks. I love that something so simple and easy to make tastes so good! I was introduced to Naan bread by one of my good friends several years ago and immediately fell in love with it. It’s so versatile and there are so many things you can make with it.
I’m a pizza lover and using Naan bread to make individual pizzas is a great way to use it. When I make Naan pizzas, I always grill them. If you haven’t had grilled pizza before, you don’t know what you’re missing! The grill gives the pizza a flavor like no other.
I made these for E one day and he absolutely loved them! He feels the same way I do, the flavor is unbeatable. They are so easy to make and are quick just as if you were using pizza dough. You first grill the bread on both sides, add your sauce, and toppings and throw on the grill. That’s it!
This is a great dinner on those nights when you just don’t feel like making a big meal and you don’t want to stay in the kitchen all night. When I plan my meals and prep for the week, I go ahead and prepare my toppings so that way when I come home, I just fire up the grill.
Y’all when I say this meal is quick, I’m talking it won’t even take you an hour. And an hour is if you don’t prep before.
One of my favorite pizza toppings is fresh mozzarella cheese, roasted tomatoes, and fresh basil. I also like pepperoni and mushrooms. E likes to add pineapple to his. This is also a great date night activity; you can create your pizza, toss it on the grill and enjoy a nice glass of wine. I’m one of those people who grill year round so we have this throughout the year. Yes….I grill in December too!
What are your favorite pizza toppings?
- 1 T Olive Oil
- Naan Bread
- Pizza Sauce
- Mozzarella Cheese
- Prepare charcoal grill for grilling.
- Lightly brush both sides of the Naan bread with olive oil.
- Place bread onto the grill for 1-2 minutes.
- Remove bread from the grill.
- Spread pizza sauce on the bread.
- Add toppings to the bread.
- Please pizza directly on the grill for 5-7 minutes.
