Do you have a mile-long to-do list when it comes to things you want to finish around the house? Me too! Thanks to the 2020 Home Decor and DIY Project Planner, I’m able to plan out what I want and need to get done. I thought I’d share my list with y’all today. When I look at it, I ask myself, “What were thinking?” But, these are things I want to get done this year. It doesn’t mean they will all be completed, but you have to start somewhere and have a goal for yourself or you’ll end up with a lot of unfinished projects or you’ll find that you’ve started nothing at all!
I’m super late in sharing this with you, but I thought it’s better late than never, right?
This year I’m sharing with you all of the things I want to get done this year. If your list is a mile long, don’t freak out. Give yourself some grace, tackle them one at a time. My list for 2020 is:
- Reupholster dining room chairs
- Build bar for a covered porch
- Gallery wall for master bedroom
- Chandeliers for master bedroom closet
- Curtains for living room
- The bar for bonus room
- The bar for formal den
- Curtains for dining room
- Stands for all of the plants in the home
- Finish restoring E’s grandmother’s 1955 Singer sewing machine
As you can see, my list is crazy long! As long as we’ve been in this home, we’ve had projects to do, so this year is no different, except that now I’m a lot more organized, which is key!
Typically I have more than one project happening at a time. I’m working on reupholstering the our old dining room chairs and restoring E’s grandmother’s 1955 Singer sewing machine. I’ll keep you updated on the progress throughout the year. You can also follow me on Instagram to see what I’m up to!
What projects do you have planned for this year?
