Cricut Tutorial: How to Slice in Cricut Design Space

As someone who makes a lot of signs, and I mean a lot, I found myself buying stencils all of the time.  If you’ve purchased stencils, you know they are expensive.  I like a lot of variety and so I don’t want all of my signs to look the same.  I want them to each have a different look.

Once I learned how to use the slice feature, it saved me so much money!  Now, I can make as many stencils as I want, and most importantly, I get what I want!

How to Slice With Cricut Machine

Watch the video below where I show you how to use the slice feature to make your stencils, but honestly, once you understand how slicing works, you’ll be able to use it on any of your Cricut projects.

What you’ll need:

  • Cricut machine (any of them)
  • Cricut design space
  • 110# cardstock (at minimum)

This video shows how I used the slice feature for making my front porch sign.

I hope you enjoy slicing as much as I do!

Have you used slicing before?
