Where are my cheese lovers? 🙋🏽‍♀️ If there was some way I could be in charge of what the food groups are, I would so add cheese. It’s terrible because I don’t know which is worse, my love of cheese or my love of shoes! 🤷🏾‍♀️ Naturally, as a cheese lover I can never get enough of charcuterie boards and when I found these personal ones, I had to have them! They are perfect for a snack and hold just the right amount. And I don’t have to share with E because he can have his own. I did buy 10 of them after all. Calling all of my Gardener friends! I need some help. These beautiful Impatients have me a bit puzzled. I keep them watered, but for some reason during the day, they are drooping; they almost look like they're dead, but they aren't. I thought it was because they were in too much sun and so I moved them, but they do the same thing. When it gets cooler, they perk right back up as if they've been that way. Can you tell me what is causing this and what change I need to make in taking care of them? It's Monday night. Do you know what you're having

It's Monday night. Do you know what you're having for dinner tomorrow? For months, many days, my lunch break was spent at the grocery store buying ingredients I needed for that night's dinner. Thank goodness we have 4 large refrigerators in our break room so I would just put my groceries in the fridge until it was time to go home. I'd leave work between 5:30 pm and 6:00 pm, drive in traffic for an hour, walk in the door, greet E, set my purse on the coffee table, wash my hands, and immediately start dinner. Y'all I did this over and over for months until one day last year, I just couldn't do it anymore. I started meal planning. I would spend my Sunday mornings after working out making a list of what we would have for lunches and dinners for the week, sometimes 2 weeks. I would go through our fridge, freezer, and pantry to see what ingredients I would need. I'd chop up everything I would need for the week and label what day I would need them for and prepare as much as I could for the upcoming week. Now, I'm not going to lie, it is a lot of work, but during the week when I came home, I would just toss dinner in the oven and be done with it! It made me a more pleasant person from the time I got home (which I'm sure E could appreciate)! LOL Even though we are both working from home right now, I still keep this same routine. I know that at some point we're going to go back to work and I don't want to get rusty. Anything I can do to cut down the time I spend in the kitchen (even though I love to cook), I'm all for it! So today I went to Michaels to pick up a few things. As I was headed to the register, I passed by the 3 aisles filled with Fall! Is it me or is this happening earlier and earlier every year? I’m not ready, even though it’s my favorite season of the year. But, I have mixed emotions because I feel as if it will give me some joy to decorate the house. This is my tablescape the first year we were in our home. It looks so different now with our last supper table that we made as E’s cousin calls it (I think because it’s almost 10 feet). So the house is incredibly quiet. At least it seems that way because our guests just left. E’s Mom, Aunts, and cousin left a couple of hours ago. They are the first guests we’ve had in quite awhile. They were here for the weekend and boy did we have fun! Y’all, I am so tired! When you have guests, do you stay up all night too? That’s what we did and I am pooped!
