As I’m sure you know, colors are very important when it comes to your home and DIY home decor projects; they can make or break a room! Colors are equally important for your branding and website. This color palette for home and websites was inspired by my love of blue. As much as I love bold and vibrant colors, baby blue is my favorite color!

Colors for a Farmhouse Kitchen
If you pay attention to home decor and design even just a little bit, you know all things farmhouse are the rage. I love the look as well and if I can talk E into knocking out a couple of walls, I plan to have my farmhouse kitchen too! I mean who couldn’t use a big farmhouse sink and a pot filler?
I’d use the lighter color for the walls to keep the room feeling open and light. I’d have the blue-gray as the color of the kitchen cabinets. This color reminds me of the color of the walls in my house currently and I think it’d be cool and different for kitchen cabinets.
The navy and peach would be the accent and colors used for the decor around the room. This kitchen would definitely have chrome fixtures and the pot filler and farmhouse kitchen would be the first things I got (probably not, but it makes me happy to think I would!

Using this color palette for your website
For a website, I would use the navy for all headings with the peach as an underline under the titles such as the widget (sidebar) titles and as a line under the menu items when you hover over them. I’d take the light gray and make a pattern that would be used for the white also so that you still had a minimalistic site, but not so minimalistic that it was boring!
The graphic images for this site would have all of the colors from this color scheme.
How would you use these colors for your website? Which colors would you keep? Which would you change? I’d love to hear your thoughts and ideas in the comments below!
