As I’m sure you know, colors are very important when it comes to your home and DIY home decor projects; they can make or break a room! Colors are equally important for your branding and website. This color palette for home and websites was inspired by my love of blue. As much as I love bold and vibrant colors, baby blue is my favorite color!

Using this color palette for your home: Colors for a baby nursery
I so see this color palette in a bathroom. It’s soft, it’s subtle, it’s soothing; all the things a bathroom should be! I could also see this color palette in a nursery; regardless of the gender of the baby. I would use the light blue for the walls and the teal and blue-gray for accent colors.
For the nursery, I think it would be super cool to take the blue-gray and the teal and create an accent wall of squares. I’m thinking even making a faux shiplap accent wall with the teal! Yes, I like shiplap. The shiplap would also help to add some texture to the room.
A soft blue color palette for a nursery is on the blog today for @BacktotheSouth\’s Monday Morning Color Watch!
Using this color palette for your website
All colors have meaning; did you know that? Blues represents peace, trust, loyalty, and stability and so this would be a great color palette for those in the wellness and holistic industries. A white and blue website would be relaxing and inviting. If you’re a minimalist, this could be an option for you.
How would you use these colors in your home or your blog? Which colors would you keep? Which would you change? I’d love to hear your thoughts and ideas in the comments below!
